Story
Gniew Castle is the most powerful fortress of the Teutonic Order on the left bank of the Vistula. Built at the turn of the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries was home to the commanders of the Teutonic Knights, in times of Polish mayors seat.

Built by John III Sobieski, the starost gniewskiego, for his wife Maria Kazimiera in the second half of the seventeenth century, built the castle complex, with one side facing the castle and the other toward the river. Today, the Palace offers 105 beds
