Our house is located on the edge of the village with a beautiful view of the Slovakian Tatra Mountains. Kacwin is a picturesque village situated on the Spis (Pieniny). It borders with Slovakia (open border crossing Kacwin-Velka Frankova). Kacwin lies at an altitude of 570 meters above sea level, the stream Kacwińskim. Neighboring villages Niedzica Niedzica Castle and north - Velk Franková (Slovakia) to the south. Kacwin is one of the oldest towns in the Spis region, appearing in historical documents as early as 1320 Here you can see only in Poland sypańce - where to store grain, old barns - two hundred years old mill, a fifteenth century historical church and chapels.
