SUN & SNOW apartments are situated on the southern slope of Bukowa Góra Mountain at 500m above the sea level with spectacular views of the beautiful surroundings and vast green areas. Summer mountain walking or cycling as there are numerous routes there. Main Beskid Track leads through highest mountain peaks surrounding the town, e.g. Wielka Czantoria, Stożek Wielki, Przełęcz Kubalonka and Barania Góra. Under the peak of Barania Góra, there is the spring of the queen of Polish rivers, the Vistula River (Wisła), from which the town took its name. Various ski lifts and beautiful ski slopes make this town a paradise for winter sports. Tourists can rely on a well equipped sport equipment rental facilities.
On site there are also several companies offering organized tours like ski scooters, quads, jeep rides etc. The sport activities infrastructure includes also swimming pools, tennis courts, football field, running track and an aqua park. Among tourist attractions in Wisła, the most interesting are the Gallery of Adam Małysz's Trophies, Museum of Beskid Region and Museum of Tourism. Various art galleries which sell regional handicraft are also worth visiting. Wooden church on Kubalonka, the Castle of the Polish President or the Hunting Castle of the Habsburgs are among further examples of Wisła's landmarks. Wisła's walking routes offer unforgettable views and close contact with refreshing mountain landscape. Amphitheater situated in the center invites to folklore events, different kinds of shows and performances. Neighboring restaurants and inns offer variety of regional dishes like pies with “szpyrki”, kwaśnica (traditional sauerkraut soup), poleśniki, kołocz wiślański and many others. On rainy days, tourist can enjoy the warmth of the fireplace, spend a day in the Salt and Iodine Cave or go to the “Marzenie” ("Dream") cinema.
