Country Skawa is one of the parishes Raba Wyżna community, he was born
and raised the Holy Father’s personal secretary - Fr. Bp. Stanislaw Dziwisz ; lives and creates the People’s Poet - Wanda Czubernat and cabaret acts Highlander "Drone".
In the nearby Rabka there are many interesting attractions for children: Puppet Theater-Rabcio, Rabkoland funfair, concerts and dance performances in the concert bowl, a vast Spa Park with playgrounds for children and brine graduation towers, sanatoriums with the possibility of using the inhalation and rehabilitation, and trails in the Gorce: the Maciejowski, Turbacz, Comb and Luboń the Great, and Zawoja (26 km) in the Babia Gora.
